Cumberland Farms in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a high-energy, guest-focused team leader to help manage the location’s food operation. You will guide teammates, ensure food safety, and deliver fast, quality food while upholding company values.

This role supports the Store Manager and aims to provide an exceptional guest experience as part of a collaborative team; physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and flexibility for varied hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 6 months retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, service or restaurant environment.
• Serv Safe certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.
• Manage food stock levels, food costs and waste, preparation, presentation, and food safety requirements for hot and cold prepared food and beverage items.
• Oversee the food service area’s cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of equipment.
• Meet Company goals for food sales (e.g. pizza, breakfast sandwiches, coffee).
• Provide training, feedback, coaching and direction to fellow team members on food preparation and safety.
• Maintain relationship with third party vendors on food safety measures and recordkeeping.
• Maintain proper stock levels and rotation of all food products in service areas.
• Process guest transactions efficiently to minimize wait time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Guest Service Leader.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
