Elior North America is seeking an experienced Assistant Food Service Director to join the corrections team at the Norfolk, VA location. This onsite role oversees culinary, safety, sanitation, and overall operations for the account.

The role requires managing a large staffing team, delivering high-quality food and service, and maintaining efficient, profitable operations with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• At least two years’ foodservice experience.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
• Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service.
• Ensuring that the business runs in a professional, efficient, and profitable manner.
• Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees.
