Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced assistant foodservice director for its Corrections division in Norfolk, VA. You will help oversee culinary, safety, sanitation and operations, and lead a large staff across multiple roles to ensure quality, service excellence and profitability.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in supervision and two years in foodservice, plus strong communication skills and a track record of financial responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years in a supervisory role.
• At least two years’ foodservice experience required.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations for the account.
• Recruit, train and retain a large staffing team of chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks.
• Ensure high quality food and friendly service delivery.
• Lead the operation in a professional, efficient and profitable manner.
