Job summary

Wendy's in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our stores operating smoothly behind the scenes. You will service refrigeration systems, ovens, and other food-service equipment, with opportunities to lead a small team and requisition materials.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience; HVAC certification is preferred in some areas, and a valid driver’s license is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a related role.
• HVAC certification preferred and may be required for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment including walk-in freezers, refrigerators and coolers.
• Repair and service dishwashers, water heaters, steam kettles, cookers and mixers.
• Service and maintain ovens, gas valves, pilots, thermocouples and related food-service equipment.
• Install and relocate food service equipment and appliances; may lead others and track materials.
