Job summary

The Wendy's Company in Brandon, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and property. You will manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) work orders and provide ongoing training on equipment operation at the restaurant level.

You must have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and hold EPA Certification Type I & II. The role may require on-call shifts, overtime and work in extreme weather.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry and plumbing.
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme climates.
• EPA Certification Type I and II required.
• 1–3 years in general maintenance/repair work.

Responsibilities

• Perform demand repairs on restaurant equipment and property as issues are identified.
• Create and complete work orders for critical issues found during restaurant visits.
• Perform preventative maintenance per PM work orders.
• Maintain accurate parts and tool inventories and manage warranty processes.
• Report equipment condition and maintenance status for capital planning.
