Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help our stores operate smoothly behind the scenes in Alexandria, LA. You will service refrigeration equipment, ovens, dishwashers, water heaters, and kitchen appliances, and may lead a small maintenance team.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. HVAC certification is preferred for certain areas, with training provided and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in food-service environments preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred for some areas.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain refrigeration equipment including walk-in freezers and coolers.
• Service and maintain dishwashers, water heaters, steam kettles, cookers, and mixers.
• Service and maintain ovens, gas valves, pilot lights, thermocouples and related electrical/plumbing systems.
• Install and relocate Food Service equipment and appliances.
• May lead a small maintenance team and requisition materials; keep records of time and materials.
