Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Bridgewater, NJ invites ambitious students to join the Customer Innovation team as a Summer Intern in the Differentiated Services Program. You will support new product development, scale lab concepts to pilot plant prototypes, and prepare technical reports under guidance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US/Canada region, perform analytical testing, and present prototypes and findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on food concept development using laboratory and/or pilot plant equipment.
• Knowledge of common food processes and ingredient interactions; familiarity with experimental design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage work projects to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Analyze data, results, and literature to advance projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following GMPs and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Customer Innovation and Differentiated Services teams to identify challenges and develop solutions.
• Present prototypes, project status, and outcomes to team members and stakeholders; compose presentations and technical reports.
