Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Global Culinology Foodservice Intern for Summer 2026 in Bridgewater, NJ. You will support development by creating texture-forward concepts and collaborating on customer-facing materials and assets to drive engagement and growth.

You will perform lab experiments, apply culinary skills in a lab setting, and coordinate with Marketing, Applications, and Technical Services to define customers and align solutions. A bachelor’s-related degree pursuit is required.

Qualifications

• Progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in food science, culinary nutrition, culinary science or related field with laboratory and culinary experience.
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory and culinary environment.
• Interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills, e.g. making presentations and interpreting data.
• Creativity to translate current culinary trends into manufacturable concepts.
• Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each workday.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory experiments, conduct data analysis and interpret results to create new concepts.
• Apply Culinary skills in a laboratory setting to develop texture-forward solutions tailored for the Foodservice market.
• Work cross functionally with Marketing and Applications, and Technical Services to scope out project work, define customers, and align solutions to customer needs.
• Coordinate, summarize and report data generated from these experiments to make recommendations for technical solutions.
• Present project findings to Foodservice and Culinology Leadership in a capstone presentation, showcasing innovation outcomes and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Global Culinology and Foodservice teams to create the 2027 Texture and Trend Report
