Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a summer intern for Process Innovation & Development. You will support a defined research project focused on nature-based ingredient processing, including unit operations, parameter optimization, and scale-up in the pilot plant.

You will perform lab/pilot trials, analyze data, summarize results, and present findings to the team and management at period end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree or master's in chemical engineering or related field.
• Ability to work safely in lab and pilot plant environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment safely to support project needs.
• Modify standard operating procedures as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in lab and pilot plant.
• Follow GMPs and safety guidelines for housekeeping.
• Summarize outcomes in appropriate reports and present status to team.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders, reporting data and results.
• Record data in ELN and other archiving systems.
• Prepare pilot quantities of product for internal and customer evaluations.
