Job summary

Bell- in Fredericksburg, PA is seeking a Food Safety System Technician I for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on intervention compliance monitoring and promoting a strong food safety culture. You will support the FSQA team, aid audits, and assist in validation studies to uphold safety standards across facilities.

Key duties include monitoring equipment, collecting samples, enforcing GMPs, and assisting with regulatory testing. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least six months experience in QA/Process Control or similar.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and other departments.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Must read/write/communicate in English for documentation and cross-team communication.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with food safety and ERP systems preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance parameters related to food safety interventions.
• Collect product and environmental samples for validation studies and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safe, quality products are produced and report any deficiencies.
• Enforce GMPs, regulations, and procedures to meet safety standards.
• Assist in regulatory testing as needed (e.g., water retention testing).
• Support FSQA through projects, audits, and improvements.
• Investigate nonconformances and collaborate on root-cause analysis and CAPAs.
• Participate in other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
