Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a Food Safety Systems Technician I to support our food safety systems. The role focuses on intervention compliance monitoring, promoting a strong food safety culture, and assisting audits and validation studies across FSQA.

The incumbent will work with the Food Safety Systems Team to ensure safe, compliant production. Responsibilities include collecting samples, monitoring equipment, ensuring GMP adherence, and assisting with regulatory testing and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Must read and follow safety rules and procedures.
Must communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
English literacy to complete documentation and procedures.
Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Monitor key equipment parameters for food safety interventions (titrations, flow, temp, pH).
Collect product and environmental samples to support studies and improvements.
Identify and report safety/quality deficiencies and escalate as needed.
Interpret and enforce good manufacturing practices and procedures.
Support regulatory testing and internal audits as requested.
Assist in projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in investigations of nonconformances and root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
