Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least six months in QA/Process Control or similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Strong English reading/writing skills for documentation and communications.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail for data entry and monitoring.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Experience with food safety and ERP systems (SafetyChain) preferred; MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key equipment parameters for food safety interventions.
• Collect product and environmental samples for validation and research.
• Report and escalate deficiencies to assure safe, quality products.
• Enforce good manufacturing practices and food safety standards.
• Assist with regulatory testing and water retention testing as needed.
• Support FSQA projects, audits and continuous improvement efforts.
• Investigate nonconformances and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Other duties may be assigned by supervisor/manager.
