Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, PA is seeking a Food Safety System Technician I for the 3rd shift. This role supports the Food Safety Systems Team by monitoring interventions, collecting samples, and promoting a strong food safety culture across facilities.

The technician assists with internal audits, validation studies, and monitoring of key programs, while addressing safety and quality concerns promptly. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; 6 months experience in QA/monitoring.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents.
• English written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with QA/ERP systems preferred (SafetyChain).
• Proactive in addressing safety and quality concerns.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor key equipment parameters for safety system interventions.
• Collect product and environmental samples for studies.
• Escalate deviations to ensure safe, quality products.
• Enforce GMPs and procedures to meet food safety standards.
• Assist regulatory testing as needed (e.g., water testing).
• Support FSQA through projects, audits, improvements.
• Assist investigations into nonconformances with root-cause analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
