Laredo Country Club in Laredo, TX is hiring a Food Runner for Paloma Restaurant. You are the essential link between kitchen and dining room, ensuring dishes arrive accurately, warmly, and on time as part of a high-energy team.

Two years of restaurant experience, strong menu knowledge, and fluent English/Spanish are required. You’ll communicate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth, polished service.

What You'll Do

You’ll help create a seamless, elevated dining experience by supporting both the kitchen and service teams.

Deliver Exceptional Service

• Run food promptly and professionally from the kitchen to members
• Explain dishes with confidence and clarity
• Ensure every plate is presented beautifully and accurately
• Assist in preparing tables and maintaining a polished dining room

Be the Bridge Between Kitchen & Service

• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff
• Facilitate smooth coordination during busy service periods
• Support the flow of service with urgency and professionalism

Required experience & skills:

• At least 2 years of restaurant or dining service experience
• Complete menu knowledge and understanding of plate presentation
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication

Certifications

• Food Handler Safety Certification
• TABC Certification
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages

Physical Requirements

You're comfortable with:

• Standing and walking for long periods
• Climbing stairs, bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Working around hot equipment and in warm, busy environments
