Job summary

Laredo Country Club is hiring a Server Assistant for Paloma Restaurant. You will support the service team and help ensure the dining room runs with warmth, precision, and efficiency. You’re not just clearing tables; you’re setting the stage for exceptional dining.

Key duties include clearing and resetting tables quickly, running food to tables for the Grille or private events, assisting with light setup, and maintaining open communication with servers and leadership to keep service flowing.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Safety Certification is required.
• TABC Certification is required.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

You’ll support the service team and ensure the dining room runs with precision, warmth, and efficiency.

Create a Seamless Dining Experience

• Clean, clear, and reset tables with speed and accuracy


• Ensure supplies, equipment, and service areas remain clean and well‑maintained


• Assist members with requests or concerns in a friendly, professional manner

Support the Service Team

• Run food from the kitchen to tables in the Grille or banquet events


• Help pre‑set dining tables


• Assist with light setup for private events


• Communicate clearly with servers and leadership to keep service flowing

Physical Requirements

You’re comfortable being active and on your feet, including:

• Standing and walking for long periods


• Climbing stairs, bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs


• Working around hot equipment and in warm, busy environments
