CAVA Foods seeks a Quality Assurance Technician for second shift to uphold high quality standards across our manufacturing center. You will perform QA checks, support GMP adherence, and collaborate with production to resolve quality issues.

You will conduct sensory and laboratory checks, track samples, and assist in SOP development. A BA/BS in science plus 1+ year QA experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry or other science preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Quality Assurance is a plus.
• Possess exceptional analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have excellent organization skills.
• Must be self-driven and able to work independently to deliver results in a timely manner.
• Must have familiarity with Food Safety plans.
• HACCP plan experience desired.

Responsabilités

• Executes and enforces daily quality-based tasks aligned with CAVA’s QA standards.
• Performs equipment and sensory quality checks (pH, temp, titrations, inspections, taste/visual checks).
• Conducts ATP, allergen and environmental swabbing.
• Evaluates raw materials for quality and packaging standards.
• Reviews production practices to verify procedures compliance.
• Leads corrective actions with production and documents processes.
• Assists management to develop and review SOPs.
• Manages sample submissions to outside labs and tracks results.
• Provides quality-based training with management support.
• Contributes insights to improve current processes.
