Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift in California. The role focuses on on-line QC checks of labeled, portioned, and shipped products, ensuring accuracy against recipes and QA standards.

You will work alongside production to verify measurements, perform sign-offs, and monitor meal bag and shipping line quality. Responsibilities include visual inspections during labeling, hourly checks on portioned ingredients, line setup verifications, and adherence to GMP and SQF

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in food quality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-the-line QC checks to ensure labels and portions meet recipe specs.
• Perform hourly inspections of portioned ingredients and meal bags.
• Verify line setup, box call outs, and protein quality.
• Document issues on QA sheets and sign-offs.
• Follow GMPs and SQF food safety programs.
