Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM-10:00 PM). This full-time role ensures food safety across the facility, performing tests, maintaining equipment, and documenting results.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1–3 years QA experience, knowledge of HACCP/GMPs, and strong attention to detail. Must work well independently and with teams; basic Word/Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in QA or food safety.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and audits on raw, in-process, and finished products.
• Record accurate documentation of test results and audits.
• Provide feedback to production teams on quality and safety concerns.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
• Train new team members on QA procedures.
• Support customer, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Assist continuous improvement efforts in QA.
