Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to support food manufacturing, operate equipment (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging), monitor processes, and uphold safety and sanitation in the production area.

You will follow SOPs, GMPs, and OSHA guidelines to ensure product quality and food safety. Daily tasks include keeping accurate production and inventory records in the Redzone system, coordinating with supervisors and QC staff, meeting production targets, and maintaining a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety regulations (FSA, USDA) and QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery (mixers, ovens, filling, packaging) per specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and finished goods per SOPs.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation to prevent contamination.
• Monitor production schedules and seek efficiency improvements.
• Maintain production records in Redzone.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians and QC for handovers.
• Able to work overtime, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
