Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to support the food manufacturing process by operating production equipment, monitoring processes, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the production area.

The role requires adherence to quality and safety standards, familiarity with GMPs and OSHA guidelines, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Training and safety protocols will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional vocational training or certification in food production/manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/instruction manuals, and SOPs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment per specifications and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished goods following GMPs.
• Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the production area and follow sanitation procedures.
• Follow production schedules and assist with inventory and record-keeping in the reporting system.
