Job summary

chg is seeking a Production Operator to support the food manufacturing process. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, set up machines to spec, and monitor production flow to prevent disruptions.

You will conduct quality checks, follow GMPs and SOPs, assist with sanitation, safety training, and report issues to supervisors. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and flexibility for overtime, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to specifications.
• Set up machinery according to production specifications and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor equipment operation to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs for product assembly, packaging, and labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area, including equipment and surfaces.
• Record production data and inventory in the production reporting system.
