Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Production Operator to support the manufacturing process, operating mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment. You will set up machinery per specifications and monitor operations to ensure a smooth production flow.

Responsibilities include quality checks of materials and products, adhering to SOPs and GMPs, and reporting any deviations. Candidates should be able to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced food production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; additional vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment).
• Set up machinery according to production specifications and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor equipment operation to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs for product assembly, packaging and labeling to maintain quality and consistency.
• Report deviations from quality standards to the supervisor or QC team.
