Job summary

chg in Elk Grove, California, is seeking a Production Operator to ensure efficient and safe food production. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, set up machinery, monitor runs, and help maintain clean, sanitary conditions in the area.

You will perform quality checks, follow SOPs and GMPs, report deviations, maintain production records in Redzone, and collaborate with supervisors and QC staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and finished goods per SOPs and GMPs.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; report deviations to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area and equipment.
• Document production records and inventory in the Redzone system; assist with stock handling.
• Collaborate with supervisors and QC staff to meet production targets.
• Work overtime and non-standard hours as needed (evenings, weekends, holidays).
