Job summary

CHG is seeking a Production Operator to support our food manufacturing line, operating equipment such as mixers, ovens, and packaging machines, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met on every batch.

You will monitor processes, follow SOPs and GMPs, maintain sanitation, and keep production records in the Redzone system, while collaborating with a team to meet schedules and production targets, including overtime when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment per specifications and set up machines.
• Monitor production processes and ensure smooth flow.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and finished products following SOPs and GMPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Maintain production records in the Redzone system.
• Assist with inventory tasks and shift handovers.
• Work overtime as needed.
