Job summary

The Production Operator at C.H. Guenther & Son plays a vital role in our food manufacturing process, ensuring safe production of products that meet quality standards. You will operate equipment, monitor processes, and maintain sanitation while adhering to GMPs and OSHA guidelines.

You will perform quality checks, document production logs in Redzone, and collaborate with supervisors and QC staff to optimize efficiency. Willingness to work overtime as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Prefer experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Familiarity with GMPs, safety rules, and SOPs for product assembly.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment such as mixers, ovens, filling machines and packaging lines.
• Set up machinery per production specs and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues to maintain flow.
• Perform quality checks on materials and finished products against standards.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs, report deviations to supervisors.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and proper waste disposal in the area.
• Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Record production logs and inventory in the reporting system (Redzone).
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians and QC to meet targets.
• Work overtime/non-standard hours as needed and support shift handovers.
