C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Production Operator to support the food manufacturing process. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, set up machinery, and monitor production for quality and efficiency. You will follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols while assisting with sanitation and records in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines, with overtime as needed to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production or manufacturing is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (FSA, USDA) and GMP practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment).
• Set up machinery per production specifications and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor equipment operation and troubleshoot issues for smooth production.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and products to ensure standards.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs for assembly, packaging, labeling; report deviations.
• Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear PPE; participate in safety training.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area; dispose of waste per policy.
• Follow production schedules; monitor output and seek efficiency improvements.
• Keep accurate production records in the reporting system (Redzone) and assist with inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and QA to meet targets; perform overtime as needed.
