Job summary

The Production Operator at C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc.

plays a key role in our food manufacturing process by safely operating production equipment, monitoring lines, and maintaining strict cleanliness and sanitation in the production area. You will perform quality checks, follow GMPs and SOPs, document production logs, assist in inventory tasks, and collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and QA personnel to sustain efficient production and product quality.

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications and Experience: High school diploma or GED; additional vocational training or certification in food production or manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating procedures; strong attention to detail; good communication; ability to work in a team.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment and set up according to specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods following SOPs and GMPs.
• Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA) and wear PPE; report safety hazards to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in production areas; assist with sanitation procedures.
• Record production data in logs and inventory records; assist with stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and QA personnel to meet production targets.
