Job summary

chg is seeking a Production Operator to ensure safe and efficient food production. You will operate and set up production equipment, monitor processes, and maintain cleanliness in the area to meet quality and safety standards.

The role requires following SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols, with emphasis on accurate record-keeping and teamwork. Physical stamina is needed for daily tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (FSA, USDA) and GMPs.
• Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging).
• Set up and adjust machinery per production specifications and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor production for smooth flow and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks on materials and finished goods.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs for assembly, packaging and labeling.
