Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking team members to rotate through packer, scaler, styler and grader on our poultry line, keeping pace with the designated rate for each product.

You will work on a moving conveyor, spread or style product by hand, perform packing and weighing, and inspect and remove items not meeting standards. As part of the team, you’ll support continuous improvement, follow Simmons operating systems and LEAN practices, and participate in team meetings.

Formación

• Willingness to rotate through packer, scaler, styler and grader.
• Ability to move or pull up to 50 pounds and work in a cold, wet, noisy environment.
• Experience in poultry or food processing preferred.
• Team player and able to follow team directives and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a moving conveyor belt and spread or style product by hand on the belt.
• Perform multiple types of packing and weighing; pull bones from product and inspect for standards.
• Participate as a team member and support development and implementation of team concepts and policies.
• Attend team meetings and communicate issues to achieve cohesion and synergy.
• Follow operating systems and LEAN practices; maintain awareness of impact of actions on the system.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
