Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking individuals for packing-related roles across the Fort Smith to Van Buren area. You will operate on a conveyor, pack and weigh products, and help inspect and grade items to meet quality standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to company policies, and participation in safety and lean programs. Physical duties include lifting and working in a cold, noisy plant environment with required PPE.

Qualifications

• Able to stand and move while working on a moving conveyor belt.
• Able to perform multiple packing and weighing tasks.
• Capable of inspecting, grading and removing product that does not meet standards.

Responsabilités

• Works on a moving conveyor belt, spreading or styling product by hand on the belt.
• Performs packing and weighing of products.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes nonconforming product.
• Participates as a team member and supports team concepts, policies and lean practices.
• Follows Simmons operating systems principles (quality, security, office environment, policies) and communicates improvement ideas.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness; wears PPE (waterproof gloves, sleeves, hearing protection, slip resistant footwear).
• Performs other duties as needed to support business objectives.
