Job summary

Responsibilities

• Works on a moving conveyor belt using both hands. Spreads or styles product by hand on the belt.
• Performs multiple types of packing and weighing.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product that does not meet standards.
• Participates as a member of the Team. Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members; participates in team meetings and supports cohesiveness to achieve synergy.
• Follows Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives, including LEAN, quality and safety policies; communicates concerns and improvement ideas.
• Physical Activities: Move, push or pull up to 55 pounds; work in a cold, wet, noisy, dusty environment; repetitive motion across shift.
