Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. seeks an Operations Team Manager I at the Carthage, MO plant. You will lead the shift line team to meet safety, quality, cost and efficiency targets, develop production plans, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Responsibilities include coaching hourly employees, implementing improvements, and ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance while partnering with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to achieve plant goals.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably food.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the shift line team to meet safety, quality, cost and efficiency targets.
• Develop and execute daily/weekly/monthly production plans.
• Coach and develop hourly team members for performance.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and drive waste reduction.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges.
