Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Production Technical Lead to drive safety, quality and productivity on the assigned line.

You will lead line/area operations, provide technical training, and coach front‑line operators to maintain compliant, high‑performing manufacturing. The role focuses on process optimization, equipment utilization and continuous improvement, with responsibilities for GMP/HACCP, 5S and timely resolution of line issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting processing equipment and implementation of technical solutions.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership through coaching and influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead line/area optimization and troubleshooting on the production floor.
• Facilitate shift huddles and performance reviews with teams.
• Provide technical training to front-line operators on processes and controls.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality and cost; ensure standard work compliance.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, safety and quality teams to resolve issues.
