Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. (AFNA) seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the shift line, drive safety, quality, cost, and efficiency improvements, and develop a capable team in our Texas facility.

You will coach, plan daily operations, monitor KPIs, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, and partner with maintenance, engineering, and quality to meet site objectives. This role emphasizes coaching and continuous improvement in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience (food industry preferred).
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Experience in lieu of degree considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the shift line team to meet and exceed performance standards in Safety, Quality, Cost and Efficiency.
• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with site and corporate goals.
• Monitor KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Efficiency; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee daily production activities and ensure line operation to standard; resolve production issues quickly.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and lead waste reduction initiatives.
• Build a high-performing team through recruiting, training, and cross-functional development.
