Job summary
Pack'n Fresh, LLC. in Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking an Automation Technician to install, operate, and maintain automated packaging equipment.
You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support changeovers for different product runs while ensuring food-safety standards are met. The role requires strong automation skills, the ability to read schematics, and experience with diagnostic tools and PLC interfaces.
Qualifications
- Strong automation and robotics experience with packaging equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and work safely with industrial power systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Familiarity with SQF, GFSI, FSMA beneficial.
- High school diploma; technical certificate preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, operate, and maintain automated packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Assist with changeovers and upgrades for new product runs and integrations.
- Document maintenance activities and follow safety protocols.
