Job summary

Amcor in Texas seeks an operator to support automation, ensuring safety, quality and production efficiency across all packaging lines. You will set up products, monitor packaging, and verify correct labeling while engaging with team leaders to resolve issues.

The role requires 2–3 years’ experience as a Machine Tender or Packer, with training as a Quality Inspector/Lead Packer considered a plus; strong English reading and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience as a Machine Tender/Packer or equivalent.
• Training as a Quality Inspector/Lead Packer is desirable.
• Lead Packer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality and attendance policies and report hazards.
• Maintain equipment and packaging materials; set up products on automated lines.
• Verify correct product and packaging; print traveler reports as needed.
• Assist with pre-shift briefings and training as required.
• Work across shifts, including overtime when necessary.
