Job summary

Tasty Brands LLC is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize highly automated food processing and packaging equipment. You will serve as the primary technical resource for electrical controls, PLCs, HMIs, drives, and machine integration.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to maximize uptime and improve OEE, while ensuring compliance with GMP, SQF, and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with automated food packaging equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery.
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting: motor controls, 3-phase power, VFDs, servo systems, sensors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated RTE food packaging equipment and systems.
• Diagnose electrical/controls issues involving PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on automation systems.
• Read and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Support commissioning, startup, and validation of new packaging equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and troubleshooting documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maximize uptime and OEE.
