Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Pizza Automation Technician to join our Franklin Park facility. You will maintain and repair the automated frozen pizza topping and packaging line, troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of 480V systems, and familiarity with packaging machinery like shrink wrappers, conveyors, and inkjet coders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase, 240V and 24V circuits.
• Strong ability to read schematics and diagnose PLC/controls failures.
• Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automation components on the pizza topping and packaging line.
• Diagnose electrical problems and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Maintain VFDs, servos, encoders, sensors, and control panels.
• Service inkjet coders, checkweighers, and packaging equipment.
• Follow safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements; communicate with teams.
