Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking an Operator/Pack to support automation areas in a safe, efficient manner. The role covers setup, packaging, data logging and quality control on automated equipment at our Texas facility.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of machine tender/packer experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement. Training opportunities and a stable full-time schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years as a Machine Tender/Packer or equivalent experience.
• Quality/lead packing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality and attendance policies; maintain safe work area.
• Identify and report equipment issues; assist with repairs as needed.
• Maintain packaging levels and proper setup on automated equipment.
• Log production data and prints travelers; verify correct packaging.
• Perform product changes and ensure correct product running via schedule.
• Prepare finished goods with correct labeling and pallet wrapping.
• Participate in teams addressing scrap, quality, or safety issues.
• May lead pre-shift meetings and provide training when required.
