Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services is seeking a Food Program and Support Services Manager to lead food and custodial services residents and staff rely on daily. You will fill vacancies, develop people, and strengthen cross‑department partnerships to keep operations reliable. This onsite role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., with daily ferry and bus travel. You’ll coach teams, set clear expectations, manage staffing and budgets, and build lasting processes

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in institutional management, hotel and restaurant administration, and/or business administration.
• Four years of supervisory experience, including program planning, execution, and budgeting.
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree in food management or hotel/restaurant administration.
• Experience with integrated software systems such as Computrition and Temp-trak.
• Knowledge of Washington State procurement and management systems, including supply acquisition and accounting procedures.
