El Molino by Vandelay Companies is seeking an Expo (Food Expeditor) to coordinate kitchen and dining room operations, ensuring accurate, timely delivery of dishes with polished presentation. You will organize the expo line, call tickets, and work closely with chefs and service staff to maintain a smooth flow during peak hours.

The ideal candidate is 18+, detail-oriented, fluent in English, with excellent communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Team-oriented with punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive, respectful, professional attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• TABC Certification, as required.
• Certified for food and alcohol service as required by State and Local Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the expo line, pass area, and surrounding service areas cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure all dishes are complete, accurate, and presented to standard before leaving the kitchen.
• Coordinate and communicate with chefs and service staff for timely delivery.
• Call tickets clearly and manage the flow of orders to maintain proper pacing of service.
• Run food to guest tables promptly and accurately.
• Assist with beverages and support service to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to health standards.
• Support servers, bartenders, and hosts to ensure smooth operations.
• Reset expo area and assist with cleaning during and after service.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and guest experience.
