Job summary

Maverick-Nv-LL is seeking a Food Expediter to act as the critical link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring every order is accurate, properly prepared, and presented to guests promptly. You will control the flow of food, communicate with cooks and servers, and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced steakhouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming food orders and kitchen tickets.
• Organize and prioritize tickets based on order time and service requirements.
• Coordinate timing between grill, fry, sauté, pantry, and other production stations.
• Verify correct menu items, table and seat information when applicable, cooking temperatures and requested doneness.
• Confirm all guest modifications, substitutions, special requests, and allergy-related instructions.
• Ensure proper plate presentation, clean plate rims, and correct food temperature.
• Maintain a clean and organized expo station.
• Communicate with servers regarding missing items, modifications, and delays.
