Job summary

Invited is seeking an Expeditor to ensure the smooth flow of dishes from the kitchen to the dining area. You will coordinate preparation and presentation, verify quality standards, and deliver dishes promptly to members and guests to maintain exceptional dining experiences.

You will report to the Kitchen Manager and collaborate with chefs, cooks, and servers to uphold high standards and adapt to special requests while contributing to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of expeditor or similar role.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expediting during meal periods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff on timing and presentation according to tickets.
• Check each dish for quality, portioning, and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate with front-of-house to ensure seamless kitchen-dining coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area.
• Assist in training new kitchen and service staff on expediting procedures.
