Job summary

PIM Brands, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist to support operations at our Somerset, NJ location. The role reports to the EHS Manager and focuses on mitigating risk and regulatory matters across sites.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in safety and environmental compliance in manufacturing, OSHA certifications, and experience with SQF and HACCP. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in safety, security, and environmental compliance in manufacturing; food & beverage experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification; OSHA 511 preferred.
• AED/CPR/First Aid certified with medical experience.
• Certifications in EHS topics such as LOTO, Forklift, Confined Space.
• Industrial Hygiene knowledge (airborne hazards: dust, chemicals, mold, bacteria).
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry and environmental standards.
• Fire safety experience.
• Ergonomics knowledge.
• Risk assessment and facility improvement skills.
• Security principles in industrial settings.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Willing to work all shifts; self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Support monitoring and maintaining compliance with Federal, State, County and Local EHS regulations (OSHA, NJDEP, NJDCA, MCUA).
• Perform weekly, monthly, and annual EHS inspections.
• Maintain detailed log of incidents across sites.
• Attend Safety Committee meetings and prepare minutes and paperwork.
• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to GMP and EHS policies across associates.
• Handle other duties assigned by management.
