Job summary
Hydrite Chemical Co. offers a Technical Service Intern position for Summer 2027, providing hands-on experience in the food industry with chemical sanitation solutions and CIP validations at dairy and food facilities.
You will analyze wash cycles, prepare service reports, and assist with efficiency improvements while working 40 hours/week on-site with regional teams; strong communication and computer skills are required, along with being enrolled in an applicable BS program.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited university pursuing a BS; preferred disciplines listed.
- Strong computer skills with MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Must be a self-starter with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform CIP validations at various dairy/food customer facilities.
- Analyze wash cycles and provide recommendations for time, cost, water, and chemical savings.
- Assist with written service/usage reports requested by customers/managers.
- Help identify continuous profit improvement opportunities for customers.
- Complete thorough daily/weekly/monthly project tasks and present outcomes to Hydrite management.
