Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. in Boise, ID, is seeking a Technical Service Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry.

You'll work on-site with dairy and food customers, perform CIP validations, analyze wash cycles, and contribute to profit-improvement opportunities while developing practical skills in sanitation and process optimization. The internship runs June through August, 40 hours per week, with potential for full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited university pursuing a BS degree in a relevant field.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Must be a self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP validations at various food and dairy facilities.
• Analyze wash cycles and provide recommendations for time, water and chemical savings.
• Assist with written service and usage reports for customers/managers.
• Identify continuous profit-improvement opportunities for customers.
• Provide timely analysis for assigned daily, weekly, or monthly projects.
