Job summary
Hydrite Chemical Co. invites students to join the Food & Beverage Technical Service Internship for Summer 2027 on-site in Milwaukee, WI.
You will work on real projects that improve sanitation and process efficiency while gaining practical industry experience. You will perform CIP validations, analyze wash cycles, and prepare service reports; communicate findings to customers and Hydrite managers; participate in cross-functional learning and leadership development.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited university pursuing a BS in Food/Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong computer skills; proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Must be a self-starter with good communication and teamwork abilities.
- English reading, writing and speaking required.
Responsibilities
- Perform CIP validations at dairy and food facilities.
- Analyze wash cycles and recommend efficiency improvements (time, water, chemicals).
- Prepare written service/usage reports for customers and managers.
- Assist with providing continuous profit improvement opportunities for customers.
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly projects and present outcomes to supervisor.
