Job summary

Hydrite is seeking a Technical Service Intern (Food & Bev) for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience in the food industry. The on-site role runs June–August at Dairy and Food customers, 40 hours/week, with potential for off-shift work and overnight duties as needed.

You will perform CIP validations, analyze wash cycles, and prepare reports while supporting continuous improvements and Hydrite’s standards. This paid summer internship offers networking and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a BS degree in a related field.
• BS degree in Food or Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP validations at various food and dairy customer facilities.
• Analyze wash cycles and recommend time, water, and chemical savings.
• Prepare written service/usage reports for customers/managers.
• Identify continuous profit-improvement opportunities for customers.
• Provide timely analysis for daily/weekly/monthly projects.
• Uphold Hydrite’s standards and professional culture.
• Complete duties as assigned by supervisor and team.
