Job summary

Hydrite in Boise, Idaho is offering a Summer 2027 Technical Service Intern position focused on food & beverage sanitation projects. You will gain hands-on experience in CIP validations, wash-cycle analysis, and reporting, working on real customer assignments at dairy and food facilities.

This paid internship runs June–August, 40 hours per week, on-site, with opportunities to present learned results to Hydrite leadership and potential for full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited university pursuing a BS in Food or Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Must be a self-starter with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP validations at various food and dairy customer facilities.
• Analyze wash cycles and provide recommendations for time, cost, water, and chemical savings.
• Assist with preparing written service/usage reports as requested by customers/managers.
• Assist with providing continuous profit improvement opportunities for customers.
• Provide thorough, timely analysis for assigned daily, weekly, or monthly projects/tasks.
