Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. in Texas is seeking a Technical Service Intern for Summer 2027 to gain practical work experience in the food industry. The internship is on-site with Dairy and Food customers, running June through August, 40 hours per week, with possible off-shift hours as needed.

You will perform CIP validations, analyze wash cycles for savings, and prepare reports for customers. Must be enrolled in a BS program (Food/Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering) with

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a BS degree in Food/Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong computer skills with PowerPoint, Word and Excel required.
• Must be a self-starter with good presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP validations at dairy/food facilities.
• Analyze wash cycles and provide recommendations for time, cost, water, and chemical savings.
• Assist with preparing written service/usage reports for customers/managers.
• Assist with providing continuous profit-improvement opportunities for customers.
• Provide timely analysis for assigned daily, weekly, or monthly projects.
